Sunday School
9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
Sunday school is held three Sundays per month from 9:15-10:15 am.
Our Youth Ministry Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. The children greet parishoners and visitors at the door, read the lesson, bring the gifts to the altar, do the collection and sing their own song.
Outreach is an important part of St. John's parish life and the Sunday school is no exception. Our Sunday school classes use their creativity to make special gifts for our Masonic Ministry at Christmas and Easter and send cards to shut-ins. As part of outreach, the St. John's parishoners and Sunday school sponsor a child through the Christian Children's Fund. Our Sunday school sends cards and letters on a regular basis to our sponsored child. Other outreach projects are chosen by our Sunday school children.
